Title: Deputy Chief of Operations
Deputy Chief of Operations, Kevin Crowley began his firefighting career in 1996 as a resident firefighter with the Moscow Volunteer Fire Department. While a resident, he also spent time working for the Lewiston Fire Department as a reserve firefighter. In 1998, he began his professional firefighting career with the Kennewick Fire Department. It was during his Washington State Apprenticeship training that he began paramedic school at Columbia Basin Community College. Throughout his tenure with the Kennewick Fire Department, he has served as a paramedic for 15 years and worked through the ranks of Firefighter, Captain, and Battalion Chief to his current position as Kennewick’s Deputy Chief of Operations.
In this role, he is entrusted with providing leadership and direction while ensuring the emergency operations of the department run as efficiently and effectively as possible. The areas of responsibility within Operations are: three shift Battalions, Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Special Operations.
Deputy Chief Kevin Crowley is a veteran of the US Army who served in the Airborne Infantry. He possesses an Associate’s degree in Fire Technology from Oxnard Community College in California and a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science with an emphasis in Business from the University of Idaho.
