Provide the related BUILDING permit number if the system is being installed and is related to building construction - you may need to confer with the General Contractor or owner to get this information. If the work is not being done as part of new building construction, please type BLD-2020-00001 in the space provided.

  10. Please note that we may request an additional paper set of plans depending on the scale and legibility of the electronic submittal. In addition, if the files are too large for submittal, please contact our office to make arrangements. **PLANS SUBMITTED MUST BE LEGIBLE WHEN PRINTED ON 11X17 OR SMALLER AND MUST BE IN A 'FLAT' FORMAT**
  11. All construction documents shall be reviewed by a NICET III in fire alarms or a licensed professional engineer (PE) in Washington prior to being submitted for permitting. The reviewing professional shall submit a stamped, signed, and dated letter; … indicating the system has been reviewed and meets or exceeds the design requirements of the state of Washington and the local jurisdiction.   12. Construction plans shall be approved and stamped by a registered Fire Protection or Electrical Engineer [KAC 8-29-015] prior to submittal to the Fire Department, verifying the system meets NFPA 72 requirements.
