The Kennewick Historic Preservation Commission is inviting and encouraging public nominations for the 4th Annual Kennewick Historic Preservation Award. Kennewick is rich in history, and we are looking for properties, individuals or organizations that conform to the Commission’s required criteria for this award. The Commission is inviting citizens to nominate a property (of at least a minimum 50 years old to qualify), an individual, business, or organization whose contribution to the preservation of the heritage of Kennewick has demonstrated significant and meaningful achievement for the City of Kennewick and its citizens. Property owners may nominate their own property.
A winner will be selected in September and the award will be presented during a City Council meeting in October. Nominations should include the property address, or information about an individual, business, or organization, along with any contact information you may have for the property owner or person/business nominated. All nominations can be sent to email@example.com. Nominations can also be submitted in person at the City of Kennewick, Community Planning Department, 210 W. 6th Avenue, Kennewick WA 99336. The City will be accepting applications between August 1, 2019 and August 31, 2019.
