Another Columbia Gardens building out to bid!

Wine Village phase 2-01

Another Columbia Gardens building is out to bid! The building, designed to house tasting rooms for Gordon Estate and Cave B Estate wineries, will become the fourth building in the Columbia Gardens Wine & Artisan Village complex which is already home to Victor Palencia’s Monarcha Winery and Bart Fawbush’s Bartholomew Winery—two of the top winemakers in Washington state!

Columbia Gardens is a partnership involving Port of Kennewick, City of Kennewick, Benton County, Hanford Area Economic Investment Fund Advisory Committee, and private businesses. The project is designed to attract tourism, foster jobs, and bring renewed vitality to Kennewick’s historic downtown district. For this latest building, the port is using insurance funds it received due to adverse impacts from 2017’s heavy winter snow load. The port is also offering shovel-ready parcels within the wine village for sale or ground-lease to the private sector. We are excited to see what other new developments will happen there and throughout Kennewick’s historic downtown district in 2019!

Bids are due by 2pm on February 19th.
