Councilman Trumbo was elected to the council effective January 2014. His priorities are to ensure open and accountable government, growing industrial development, revitalizing the riverfront and downtown Kennewick and addressing issues that affect the oldest and historic areas of the city. As a retired journalist, he advocates public involvement in, and knowledge about, local government.
Boards and Commissions
Councilman Trumbo currently serves on the Benton County Law and Justice Council, Benton Franklin Community Action Committee, Hanford Advisory Board, Kennewick FOCUS and the Infrastructure and Operations Committee. He also serves as alternate on the Benton County Mosquito Control District Board and the Block Grant Advisory Committee.
