Areas of Responsibility

Under the supervision of the Deputy Fire Marshal, the Fire Prevention Division is tasked with:

Fire Inspection Program
Fire Investigations
Fire protection system permit plan review and inspections on new construction as well as renovations of existing facilities
Scheduling and coordinating Public Education events for the department
Special event review and approval as well as inspections of Mobile Food Vendors and Non-Mobile Food Vendors
Utility plan review of water line and fire hydrant installation of new construction projects
