This program provides grants for neighborhood revitalization, affordable housing, expand economic opportunities, and/or improve community facilities and services. All projects and programs must principally benefit low-and moderate-income persons.

HOME Program
HOME provides formula grants to localities that communities use – often in partnership with local nonprofit groups – to fund affordable housing and direct homeownership assistance.

Kennewick Housing Authority
Kennewick Housing Authority (KHA) provides long-term subsidized rental assistance to eligible households who are extremely low to low incomes throughout the Cities of Kennewick and Richland, Benton County, Washington. KHA does not provide temporary shelter or emergency housing.

Block Grant Advisory Committee
The City of Kennewick Block Grant Advisory Committee is an advisory body to the Kennewick City Council in the utilization of the Community Development Block Grant funds. Duties include the review of applications for the Community Development Block Grant funds and make recommendations on project funding to the City Council.
