  3. Arts Commission

    The Arts Commission serves to enhance and enrich the quality of life of Kennewick residents and visitors by fostering an artistic environment that develops a sense of community as it creates a number of public venues that instill a sense of place along with an opportunity to have fun.

  4. Block Grant Advisory Committee

    The City of Kennewick Block Grant Advisory Committee is an advisory body to the Kennewick City Council in the development of the City's Consolidated Plan and the administration and utilization of the Community Development Block Grant, HOME Grant, and other grant programs as they relate to housing and community needs.

  5. Civil Service Commission

    The Civil Service Commission is a three-member body appointed by the City Manager to administer provisions of the State Civil Service Act.

  8. Historic Preservation Commission

    The major responsibility of the Commission is to identify and actively encourage the conservation of the City's historic resources by initiating and maintaining a register of historic places and reviewing proposed changes to the City Register of Historic Places.

    The Parks and Recreation Commission is a seven-member body that works with the City of Kennewick's Parks and Recreation Department to provide citizen input into the City's recreational and parkland needs.

    Planning Commission is a seven-member body appointed by City Council as advisors on matters relating to land use, economic development, infrastructure, and urban design.
