The Property Crimes Unit investigates Crimes Against Property cases such as forgery, fraud, theft, burglary, malicious mischief, embezzlement, extortion, auto theft, possession of stolen property and vehicle prowling. It is also assigned to investigate robbery, arson, vice, gang crimes, graffiti, narcotics and other cases as assigned.
The unit is comprised of a Detective Sergeant, 4 Property Crimes Detectives and a Gang Detective assigned to investigate these cases. Additional assignments include participation in the Benton County Adult Drug Court, Department of Corrections Release Screening Committee and various other committees and boards.
