Bid Opportunities

The City of Kennewick partners with Public Purchase, a free web based eProcurement service.  For our vendors and contractors this system provides automatic notification and access to download bid documents.  For some solicitations online submittal of bids may be allowed or required.

Open solicitations are displayed below.  To view details or respond to a solicitation, you must be registered with Public Purchase.  Once you are registered, you can login to view and/or respond to a bid opportunity.

Current Bid Opportunities

To receive bid notifications you must register with Public Purchase. There is a 2 step registration process, both steps must be completed in order to receive notifications and access City of Kennewick bid documents.

Step 1: Register With Public Purchase

  • Use this link to begin the registration process. It can take up to 24 hours for your account to become active.
  • You will receive an email from Public Purchase letting you know your account is activated.
  • Be sure and add this email address to your contacts to avoid the bid notification emails being sent to your junk folder.
If you are already registered with Public Purchase previously please proceed to the next step.

Step 2: Register With City of Kennewick

Once you have received your activation email from Public Purchase log into their site and accept the terms and conditions of use.

Start your registration process by visiting our Public Purchase Account.
  • Begin by selecting the NIGP Commodity Codes that relate to your business so you can receive email notifications of future bid opportunities.
  • You may be prompted to fill out a W-9 for the City of Kennewick records and for tax purposes. This form must be completed before you will be considered a vendor for the City of Kennewick even if the City already has a W-9 from you on file.
It is important that this second part of the registration is complete or you will not receive notifications of upcoming quote opportunities from the City of Kennewick. It is your responsibility to keep the information up to date, particularly the contacts and email addresses.
