Metaline & Keller/Johnson/Irby Sewer Replacement (P2027-23)

Project Description

The City of Kennewick Public Works Department is planning to replace and upsize existing six-inch (6.0”) concrete main located within two (2) separate easements within the same neighborhood. The existing pipes will be replaced with a new eight-inch (8.0”) pipe from manhole to manhole as well as reconnecting existing sewer services. Installation of the new piping will involve replacing the existing mains on private property within a ten-foot (10’) easement, five-feet (5’) on each side of the back property line. Pipe bursting is the required method of installation in order to replace and upsize these existing pipelines and to minimize construction impacts to private properties.
