W. 36th Avenue Sidewalk Project (P1906-19)

Project Description

The City has obtained a Washington State Transportation Improvement Board (TIB) grant to install sidewalk along the north side of W. 36th Ave. between S. Vancouver St. to 300 feet east of S. Tacoma St. or just east of S. Sharron St. The existing roadway overall width is approximately 28-feet wide. The approximate width north of the centerline is 14-feet to the edge of pavement. To accommodate for the new sidewalk, the north side will be widened an additional five (5) feet to increase the width of the roadway to 19-feet from the centerline.
