UPRR 24-inch Sewer Interceptor

Project Description

The 24-inch sewer interceptor sewer, parallel to the Union Pacific Railroad tracks, east of Edison is showing signs of moderate to heavy corrosion/deterioration caused from hydrogen sulfide gas (a common odorless gas released from wastewater streams). The City has hired JUB Engineers to assist with designing improvements to the pipeline. Those improvements will likely include trenchless technologies where the existing sewerline is lined utilizing a cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) process.
