Public Art + Artist Roster

Description

Artists that would like to be included in the Kennewick Arts Commission’s Fast Track Public Art Repository are hereby invited to submit site specific and non-site specific examples of their public art that could be “fast tracked” by the Commission.  Artists and artworks included in the roster will be automatically evaluated and may be invited to submit work for future projects.

Deadline

Proposals will be reviewed on a monthly basis.  If accepted, proposals and/or artists will be added to the roster for future consideration.

Media

Work in all media is eligible and encouraged.  Please note that the great majority of public artwork commissioned and/or purchased by the KAC is designated for outdoor installation.

Eligibility

Professional artists working in the Pacific Northwest are encouraged to submit proposals.  Note that artists do not have to be skilled in working with particular media, but must partner with a professional fabricator that is willing to work with them to realize their idea.

Proposals

Proposals should include the information requested below.  When designing your site specific or non-site specific artwork(s), please pay special attention to our Public Art Master Plan.  Artists that relate their proposed artwork to our opportunity zones and community stand a much higher chance of being selected.
