2017 Community Pedestrian Crossing Improvements

Status - Complete

The project removed pedestrian barriers at three locations within the City of Kennewick. The project constructed mid-block crossings, ADA pedestrian ramps, rectangular rapid flash beacons (RRFB), raised median refuge islands and appurtenances. Crossing locations are: Volland Street @ the new HUD housing to provide a safer connection to the neighborhood grocery store (WINCO); Kellogg Street @ TriTech High School serving the school; Goodwill Industries and WorkSource,  and Washington Street @ 6th Avenue serving Kennewick High School.
